Daniel Kozuch is involved with simulation studies of biological systems. Daniel holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in chemical and biological engineering from Princeton University. As a graduate student in Pablo Debenedetti’s group, Daniel employed advanced sampling techniques to study metastable biomolecular systems under extreme conditions, such as low temperature and high pressure. He also designed and applied machine learning and optimization methods for in silico protein engineering, and he worked closely with experimentalists to model the assembly of soft matter nanoparticles for drug delivery. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, board games, and eating at as many different restaurants as physically possible.
