Alexander Donchev

Alexander Donchev is involved in the development of improved force fields for biomolecular simulation. Alexander received a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Moscow State University. He was the 1992 and 1993 winner of the Moldavian Mathematical and Physics Olympiads. Prior to joining DESRES, Alexander worked as a Scientific Researcher at Algodign in Moscow. His field of expertise is the design of force fields for biophysical applications, such as computer-aided drug design. Outside of work, Alexander enjoys reading novels and studying history.
