Songela Chen

Songela Chen is involved with simulation studies of biological systems. She received her S.B. in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a minor in Chinese. Prior to joining DESRES, Songela was an undergraduate researcher in Adam Willard's group at MIT, where she worked on modeling ion mobility in solid-state polymers using coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations. Previously, she spent two summers at DESRES as an intern. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and being outdoors.
