Ross Lippert is involved in the design of algorithms and software for Desmond. He earned a Ph.D. in mathematics from MIT, where he also earned four concurrent undergraduate degrees in physics, mathematics, computer science, and electrical engineering. Before joining DESRES, Ross was an instructor at MIT's Department of Mathematics. Previously, he was a Senior Research Scientist in the Informatics Research group at Celera Genomics and a von Neumann Fellow in Computational Science at Sandia National Labs.
