Daniel Shenfeld is involved in the development of novel computational chemistry methods. He came to DESRES from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he earned dual M.Sc. degrees in mathematics and biochemistry and a B.Sc. in mathematics and biology. His graduate research implemented molecular dynamics to refine membrane protein modeling. He enjoys hiking in his home country, Israel, where he has a wide knowledge of the local flora, as well as in his parents' homeland, Brazil.
