John Klepeis leads force field development efforts at DESRES and oversees certain external activities of the lab, including the Desmond release effort. John earned a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Princeton University. He received an M.S. in chemical engineering practice and an S.B. in chemical engineering, with a minor in German language and literature, from MIT. During his time as a Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton, John developed novel approaches for protein structure prediction and de novo protein design.
