Chemistry and Biology

Anton Arkhipov

Anton Arkhipov applies molecular dynamics simulations to study biological systems, with a current focus on protein kinases. Anton earned a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as an M.S. and B.S. in physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. His research interests include molecular simulations of protein-membrane systems and macromolecular complexes, such as viruses. Outside the office, Anton enjoys various sports, hiking, and reading.
